Wolfgang Style Guitar Project with everything but the single coil needed to complete the whole guitar!This was a custom project we started but do not have the time to complete. We wanted a single coil in the neck for something different and in the vane of the Frankenstein Guitar.
Body was custom made by Locke Custom Guitars, as well as the neck. We cut the headstock shape to the Wolfgang look and it turned out stellar. Body and neck headstock have a Vintage White Guitar Stain applied to them to give it a semi transparent look, but has NO clear coat on it yet. Stain is water based so it could be lightly sanded and actually have paint applied if that is more to your liking. Possibilities are endless! ( We can include a small container of the stain for touch ups upon request before shipping, buyer just needs to ask.)Body shape is spot on and fits right into the EVH molded hardshell case that\'s included. Headstock is angled just like the USA Wolfgang necks. Has 22 medium frets which the ends need to be touched a bit do to dry winter weather here in NY they are a little sharp. Neck is birdseye maple, and has a thin \"D\" profile so it\'s a bit wider and flatter feeling, R4 Nut shelf. Great in the hands! It has been finished with Tung Oil to leave it feeling natural.Body finish has 1 small imperfection to it near the top left of the single coil route and is slightly visible in the pics. Just wanted to make a note of it. All back cover plates are included with the body. NONE of the holes have been drilled for the tuners, jack cover, cover plates, neck or pickups.
