Thisbeautiful vintage coat is made of high-quality virgin wool and has asubstantial weight to it, making it both elegant and practical incold weather.
Thedouble-breasted bodice and curly lamb\'s wool trim is classic,post-WWII-era styling. The label reads, John Mouber San Francisco.And a second label on the satin lining reads, Forstmann 100% virginwool.
Thecoat is in excellent condition and appears to hardly have been worn.The only flaw I can find is that a few tiny sections of the liningunderneath the curly lamb\'s wool trim show. These small areas (seeclose-ups of sleeve and bodice) of lining are a light neutral color,so they are visible, but not hugely noticeable.
Thereis no size listed, but I would say it\'s about a medium. Approximatemeasurements are as follows:

*The sleeve measurement was difficult to take because there is novertical shoulder seem to mark where to begin, and also because thewide cuffs at the bottom can be adjusted. When the cuffs are foldedback at their natural crease point, the sleeves seem slightly shortto me (compared to modern-day sleeves). I don\'t know if this isbecause women wore gloves in this era and so maybe sleeves were alittle shorter, or if this coat is just meant for a petite woman(although the rest of the coat seems standard in measurement—notpetite). I am 5\' 6\", and the sleeve length is fine if I adjustthe cuffs a little. If you are tall, or have long arms, the lengthmay not work for you, unless you adjust the cuff width a few inches.
