Wonderful 18th century rare miniature Dutch DELFT model of a cow, 1760:
$140.50

A really beautiful and very rare miniature Dutch delft model of a recumbent cow, the body splashed in manganese and details picked out in blue; Holland, circa 1760.

These little models of cows are rare survivors. They would have been very common in the eighteenth century and bear testament to the importance of the cow in Dutch agricultural life. They were probably made as chimney or dresser ornaments and would have been arranged in groups of different sizes. This one is really cute, only 3 1/2 inches in length and 2 1/2 inches tall.

There has been professional restoration to several parts of this cow. All restoration is very hard to detect. Good luck and thanks for offerding! !
