DESCRIPTION: So this is a very cool piece. Alfred Andriola drew Kerry Drake and a great cast of villains for Hugh Brannum. Brannum was most well known as the character Mr. Green Jeans on Captain Kangaroo, but he was also Uncle Lumpy when he performed the \"Little Orley\" stories with the Fred Waring orchestra. I\'ve been able to identify the characters as Tennessee Lane (UL), \"Spider\" Webb (LL), Danny DollTalk (UR), and Poddy, the ventriloquist dummy. All of the characters appeared in Kerry Drake in 1951, so I\'m assuming that the piece is from that year. Just a terrific and unual specialty drawing by Andriola.

SIZE: 14½\"x10\".

CONDITION: Fine condition, with a light damp stain at the bottom edge, away from the artwork. All else is very nice.
