11 1/2\" with ring in upright position. Total width of the bit is 6 1/2\". Inside measurement of mouth piece 4\". This is a really early Mexican ring bit. Very unusual type with sharp spikes sticking out the side. Not sure why, but they\'re sharp and nasty. Unusually large size for a ring bit this early. Bit is complete except for the rein chains.
