Up for sale is a stunning, original, color-illustrated catalog and price list from circa 1938, entitled \"Correct Uniforms For Army Officers.\" This is a truly amazing and informative list of all uniforms, blouses, breeches, overcoats, capes, hats, boots, belts, shoes, sabres, pieces, parts, spurs, etc. available for private purchase by US Army officers in 1938. Just a wonderful, wonderful, period reference. A great piece of ephemera for the uniform collector, or uniform researcher! Total of 31 pages. Each page deals with a particular uniform accessory, and gives pricing as well as item specifics. Catalog was put out by the Associated Military Stores out of Chicago, a large and popular officer uniform supplier.
You\'ll love the wonderful color and black & white illustrations throughout. My favorite is the two page spread showing officers dress boots. Very cool!!
