This is a wonderful vintage and large French Sèvres style vase. Very special and rarepitcher shape.

Deep cobalt blue colour. In front a beautifull family scene, a galant couple with 2 children, enjoying a picknick and playing. A fine romantic scene, entirely handpainted, very fine and detailed art work, in vivid colours. Signed by the painter in the decor (pict. 6). The painting is surrounded withrich gold guirlandes, partly raised. Also the backside is decorated with beautifull partly raised gold.

Theelegant beakand handle, and also the basefoot are in gold brass or bronze, all richly elaborated.Magnificent!

The vase is in good condition.
