Wood probably oak with wood knob, new lock and chains on the sides to allow case to be open without holding. Large size.

The inside has faux leather which I placed inside not clued down. Could be glued down but thought if wanted to change look, fabric could easily be changed. There is a plastic baffled material composite on the inside of the case below the fabric, the original bottom. You can stick pins to attach jewelry or your favorites to the bottom to keep from moving.

Great for displaying your favorites of anything. Non smoking house, no smells. Plastic not glass. The plastic has some marks/scratches/fogged in places please see pictures as part of the description. Being sold \"as is\". The plastic could probably be easily replaced but leaving to new owner.

This has some weight to it and sturdy.
