This listing is for a fully functioning BATTERY OPERATED BUBBLE BLOWING MONKEY w/box as shown. It is in good -very good condition. Colors are clear & bright. Litho, tin, plastic parts & fur are nice. The is some discoloration between the monkey\'s legs which can be seen in photos. When the switch is turned on, the correct four actions occur as follows: (1) Eyes light up, (2) Right arm dips bubble wand in bowl and rises it to mouth, (3) Head moves back to blow bubbles, (4) Air is blown from mouth, (has strong air pressure) Process is repeated. Mechanically the toy works great. Great toy for a kid\'s birthday party. Too cute. No corrosion or rust anywhere. The original coconut / bubble solution bowl is included. Also included is the original bubble solution battle that came with this toy. Nice to display with the monkey. This is a \"MADE IN JAPAN\" toy listed in Don Hultzman\'s book, COLLECTOR\'S GUIDE TO BATTERY TOYS, copyright 2002, second edition. It is listed on page 36. It is a 1950\'s era toy made by the Alps Co. It has a rarity of 3 on a scale to 10 being the rarest, and a value of $280.00 in C-10 condition without the box. The box is in average / good condition.
