This knife is one of several items from WW1 and WW2 direct from the family of Nelson Hall of Rochester, NY who served in US Army in both wars and his son Robert who served in WW2. Nelson was in the Infantry in WW1 and Robert was in the Army Air Force in WW 2. There are several listings which will end the same day at staggered times. This listing is for a Springfield Armory 1916 Bolo Knife, Scabbard, Web belt and 2 other belts. Scabbard and web belt are in good shape, no tears, leather good, stitching all good. Throat is good. See photos. Some age soiling to canvas on scabbard. Knife has problems; one wood grip half gone, small chunk out of other, bend in the knife at handle, tang bent, see photos for more on condition.
