ONE (1) Very Nice & Very Collectible WW I Modele Depose Leather Compass Storage Pouch or Casewith Belt Loop & Flap.Take a look at the pictures because they showthe actual item you are offerding on and will recieve as winning buyer.The compass storage pouchmeasures approximately 4 x 2-3/4 x 1-3/4 inches as seen in pics 1&2. There is a flap that can be opened as seen in pics3,4, etc during use. It is nicely constructed with 1st quality brown leather. The metal parts appear to bebrass based upon the green residue. The opening measures approximately 2-1/2 x 15/16 inches. It is also about 3 inches deep. The belt loop on the back will accommodate a 2-1/4 inch wide belt. The front of the pouch is stamped with manufacturer or descriptive info - MODELE DEPOSE. This case will accommodate the US Model 1918 C-E compass as well as a French model of a similar size. I think the compass storage pouch or caseisin Excellent Condition & Better.The case has been neatly marked with a name on the inside, probably the WW I Doughboy owner. It has also been marked on the belt loop with a number. These are small enough to go unnoticed.Ihave provided pictures for yourevaluation & any questions. [see pics]
