An Interesting WW2 Era US Army Airborne Paratrooper\'s Bracelet In 14K Gold & Sterling Silver - given as an Award for the Winner of the 50 Yard Dash - 1943! First of all, the bracelet is beautifully made, the chain type links beautifully assembled and hand crafted like a fine watch! The Airborne Insignia of the Paratrooper Jump Wings are made in 14K Gold (Tested) and are applied to the diamond shaped base. The bracelet actually looks to be hand made based on the detail to workmanship and the Airborne Jump Wings. The bracelet is 7\" in overall length and has two steel hooks for attaching the bracelet ends. It\'s solid, beautifully made, and fairly heavy for its size. It was probably given as an award to the winner in an Airborne Unit\'s Sports games! Games that the soldiers would participate in to take their minds off of the stress of war! There are no markings on the piece but it is a Great Airborne related item! Generally in VF Condition, some tarnishing evident and the Jump Wings are a bit worn.
