This is the correct two piece leather BLACK (tan interior) Leather German Stahlhelm Chinstrap Two piece construction of high quality leather with connecting buckle, and two aluminum studs. The strap attaches to the Helmet Liner with folded ends connected to the appropriate left and right hanger eyes affixed to the liner, by shirt stud style double buttons. Traditionally the short strap side was attached to the left side liner.
Includes a German WW2 marking for authenticity!
