1920\'s Jeweled Vanity Tray ... rare tray with an issue (see things to point out)I have collected many jeweled vanity items over the years.I love these old jeweled trays. This one is extra - nice - extra fancy!The jewels are nice and bright and look how many there are.The filigree is beautiful and even bends around up over the corners to the outer sides.The lace is creamy white and just gorgeous.There are 2 plates of glass with the lace inserted between.The glass is held in with a fancy gold bezel and 4 filigree prongs.The tray sits on 4 sturdy feet.No cracks in the glass.No missing stones.Condition: Very good pre-owned condition.THINGS TO POINT OUT: . The original gold gilt has been touched up or gone over with a gilt and although it looks alright it is not a professional job.You can see it is a little uneven in colors. This will not jump out at you..because the tray itself is so showy with all its jewels.I want you the buyer to be aware of this gilt work because...This is an expensive tray because of its special jewels and lace. Plus the design is really nice and so ornate with the fine filigree.I have discounted the price somewhat because of the gilt...but this tray is really a nice and rare find. see pictures for measurements....this is a small to medium size tray. Not to small not to big.

I have collected many jeweled vanity items over the years.

I love these old jeweled trays. This one is extra - nice - extra fancy!

The jewels are nice and bright and look how many there are.

The filigree is beautiful and even bends around up over the corners to the outer sides.

The lace is creamy white and just gorgeous.

There are 2 plates of glass with the lace inserted between.

The glass is held in with a fancy gold bezel and 4 filigree prongs.

The tray sits on 4 sturdy feet.
