As we deal in raw comics, and there remains much \"eye of the beholder\" determination regarding grade, we list items within a range. We do not guarantee the comic will absolutely fall within that range, so use the scanned images to judge cover grade yourself. We WILL NOT state any comic to be in 9.8 or greater condition, but may indicate possible higher grade. We believe that 9.8 and higher should be reserved for professional grading. Many of our \"NM\" or 9.2 - 9.6 grade range will return higher (9.8?) if submitted for professional grading. It is also possible that a book may return lower than a 9.2. Silver Age or key bronze through modern age are looked at closer than common issues, simply it is not time/cost effective to closely grade a book we will sell for under $5.00.
Here is a general guide to our grading:
High Grade - For modern books (1984 or newer), this is Near Mint (NM, 9.2 or higher), Bronze and Silver, Very Fine (VF, 7.5 or higher)Mid Grade - Modern Books 7.0 - 9.0(1984 or newer), Bronze and older is FN (5.5 - 7.0)Low Grade - For Modern books - we generally will not list these unless a key issue; Bronze and older - 5.0 or & HANDLING:
