Description:

Exceedingly rare, pure Art-Deco porcelain perfume/scent Halloween lamp, depicting a very cute young boy with an intriguing expression and a well molded red-orange devil/demon costume with black details.

This beautiful piece is all made of painted porcelain with pierced eyes, scent reservoir on back of head, small ventilation holes on top of head and bigger ones on lower back. Early crown over entwined “WG” Goebel logo and number “205” incised on back.

Made in Germany, by William Goebel ca. 1920’s

Dimensions:

7-½ inches (19 cm) height x 4 inches (10 cm) base diameter.

Condition:

Complete figure with a couple of tiny \"fly bite\" paint chips on his right foot (see picture #9.) one, not noticeable, hairline on back, running from wire hole to near his left elbow (see picture #10 and #11) and a small old repaired crack on back, around the wire hole (see picture #12.) Otherwise, very fine to excellent overall condition.
