Offered is a stunning large antique carved shell cameo brooch. It depicts the goddess Flora. This piece features an amazing left facing bare shoulder presentation with incredible crisp detail and good relief. The frame is ornately worked in a floral pattern, with an early locking clasp. It is 14k gold, not marked but tested. This piece measures 2 1/4\" by 1 3/4\" and weighs 16.5 grams. Breathtaking late Victorian or Edwardian period piece in very good to excellent antique condition.
