XL 18k Victorian Enamel Cameo Brooch Guardian Angel Protecting Boy from Snake:

This is a xlarge Victorian cameo oval brooch depicting a guardian angel protecting a boy from snake, in beautiful white and blue enamel gold mount. This piece is truly a work of art. The white-colored figures stand out from the honey brown ground. The carving is fantastic with wonderful details. Every single line is carved smooth and fluent. The angel and the boy\'s eyes, nose, lips etc. are all presented in great details. This piece is much better in person. Circa 1840s-1860s.

The setting is 18k solid yellow gold (tested) with beautiful white and blue enamel. It has a T and C pin. The size is 2 1/8\" x 1 13/16\" (54mm x 46mm). The cameo in superb condition. A short faint hairline appears through strong back light. And the enamel remains excellent condition too.
