This is an excellent original antique Red Wing stoneware churn with salt glaze on the outside, Albany slip glaze on the inside, and cobalt bee sting design on the front. Condition is near mint; there are absolutely no chips, cracks, or flea bites anywhere, just a couple drips of dirty residue on the back from use. The churn has plenty of character including five large turkey droppings that are highly visible around the front and side. It is a stunning piece and difficult to find in this condition. The churn measures 15 1/2" H x 13" in diameter and will be packed securely, double boxed, and fully insured during shipping.
