XXL & HEAVY GERMAN CHEF KNIFE Vintage Antique WUSTHOF Carbon Steel 16\" Blade NR ... Measures about 21.75\" OAL. The 16\" blade length is inclusive of the integral bolster where it joins the handle. The blade is close to full, it has patina, stains, some light surface rust, some tiny pitting scars. The edge has grind marks, some small teeth from careless sharpening. The spine measures approx 7/16\" just ahead to the bolster. Note scars/use marks, from having been used as a hammer. The tang tapers. The wooden hafts are held w/ three brass cutler\'s pins. The has a few tight small cracks, some scuffs and scars from use, some slight shrinkage of the wood. If I push on the wood along the spine, I am able to generate a little movement, but not sufficient to call them \"loose\", which they are not. Note the Trident Dreizack logo on the handle. The blade stamping is illustrated. It reads: TRIDENT (LOGO) DREIZACK SOLINGEN GERMANY 4586/562/16\". This is a rare knife that weighs 2.75 lbs. It is offered, at , as illustrated, \"as is\".
