Hello and welcome,This listing is for:-A RARE YSL-YVES ST LAURENT-GOLD PLATED, ELEGANT, CLASSICALLY DESIGNED MEN\'S DRESS WATCH DATING FROM THE LATE 70\'S I have acquired this watch recently but I also happen to own this model thus being able to accurately date it to around 1979. The serial number on the case is 130461 and on mine it is 178870 which was purchased in 1980 (for £350) assuming the numbers are consecutive it must have preceded mine by at least a year.The 30mm round x 6mm thin case has distinctive notches either side with a narrow raised bezel surrounding an unblemished bevelled mineral crystal over a sharp white face with thin black Roman numerals and gold coloured \'sword\' shaped hour and minute hands. At position 6 is a rectangular aperture showing the date.The rear stainless steel case cover is a little faded and reads : YVES ST LAURENT-STAINLESS STEEL BACK-QUARTZ-WATER RESISTANT(not tested or guaranteed)-130461- and house a France Ebauches 7020-1-2 original quartz movement into which a new Swiss battery has been professionally fitted.The 175mm round bespoke stainless steel bracelet has a close fit link with a gold plated outer border culminating in a firm clasp bearing the YSL logo. I do have a couple of spare links with mine if the size is a problem.The overall condition is good with only patches of plate wear, some abrasion to the bezel and some nibbles on the underneath of the case. The face-on view at wrist distance in it\'s current polished condition doesn\'t belie any of this.I do have a ladies version of this model listed if it is of additional interest.Please study carefully the included photos as they do form part of this description.
