This classic Yamaha Nippon guitar is now a cult classic. It\'s partly due to the amazing sound reproduction. Guitarists are starting to understand that brand new guitars sound harsh and feel stiff. They don\'t have time to \"open up\" the sound over 5 to 10 years. When wood is subjected to the tone of strings for decades, the sound is affected and results in a pleasant tone. These were made back when they used higher grade wood and components, spending more time with each guitar.: 1966-1972, Top: Spruce, Back/Sides: Mahogany, Neck: Mahogany, Fingerboard: Rosewood. The scratches on the bottom do not affect the sound. This guitar is for the real players - Here\'s why:

Full setup level and crown frets (fretting comfort and durability)Bone nut and saddle (all FG\'s come with plastic saddle/nut so changing to bone improves the sound)Ream bridge pin holes (better action and stability)
