This is a really cool old Yamaha AT1mx, one of the first true Yamaha dirt bikes (not agyt-edenduro). Matching number frame and motor. I found this bike in scruffy, but rideable condition and I cleaned it up a bit. It\'s not a show bike, or \"restored,\" but a cleaned up rider. The paint on the tank is original and just looks fantastic (though it\'s not perfect). I bought it to race vintage motocross, but I\'m moving and have to thin out the garage. I installed new points, checked the bore, got it running (sounded great (and loud!), no weird noises) drained the gas and parked it. I\'drecommend cleaning out the carb from sitting, butotherwise it should be ready to roll. I tried to keep as much of it as original as possible, so again, this isn\'t a show bike or meantto be a perfect. I rolled the bike over to the field next to my housefor pics, it probably looks better than it really is! Please see the pics closely and offer accordingly.
New Parts/Work Done:-Paint on frame and fenders-new seat foam-new upper throttle and front brake cables-new tires-newfoot peg rubbers-new points-new front number plate and mount,ext-NOS Filtron Air Filter-Newvintage bend handlebars-New AT1 replica grips-New Kill switch (not oem, but a smart addition to an old two-stroke!)
Problems:-Seat cover needs replaced (this super cheap cover is garbage and started splitting at seams)-Some rub marks on front forks-Front forks seals weep a bit (I have a pair I\'ll include, just never got around to installing them).-Fork dust covers are cracking a bit-Paint coming off clutch side engine cover-Non-Stock levers-Foam in air filter was junk, so I tossed it. You\'ll need some UNI foam to re-wrap the cage (which is still in there)-Dents/dings in aluminum front fender, hard to see though (under mount)There\'s probably more, but I can\'t think of anything at the moment. This is an old bike, so please keep that in mind if you aren\'t used to vintage bikes.Just to be clear, this is anoff road bike with no title. I had to click \"Clear\" title on the add, but there is no documentation that comes with this motorcycle. Bill of sale only.
