A nice group of yellow ware custard cups made around 1920 by Morton Pottery in Illinois. They are covered in the \"Woodland\" glaze, consisting of rich green and brown sponged over the deep yellow clay in an eye-pleasing pattern. Each custard cup measures 3 1/2\" in diameter, is 2\" high, and has vertical ribbing molded around the bodies. They are well made, quality pieces of yellow ware.These custard cups are in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or repairs. They have age crazing under the clear glaze, with one cup having a little heavier craze line which does not cross into the inside of the cup (see the last 2 pictures).
Ready for display in your antique cupboard or yellow ware collection!
