We are closing our palm nursery and selling off all remaining palms. We planted them in hundreds here at our Vineyard. Please look at them closely to determine if they are Jubaeas/Yubaeas or hybrids.JUBAEA/YUBAEA PALMS are originally from Chile and are perfect for cold winters and high altitudes. They can withstand frost and develop into a large, tall trunk.We have about 200 YUBAEA (JUBAEAS) of about 6 yearsand their fruits are strong and healthy.
We like to sell them in bulk, but are accepting offers within this ad for 4 palms pershipment. The cost is $120 and the shipping is $30 via UPS ground.
Please note: I will ship these palms bare rooted, but well protected. Otherwise shipping would be impossible. The palm is fine toendure thetravel for at least a week or two. These Jubaeas are very resilient. I received first a complain of leaving too much earth in the box and therefore the box got wet and broke. Somebody else complained that the palm came without earth and looked dead. It is not dead! It just needs to be planted right away (at least 30% of sand) and given some nutrients.
One of the buyers wrote me:
\"Got your shipment and have already planted them. The Jubaeado seem to ship well bare root. If your customers are concerned about the roots drying out, tell them to hose them down with water as soon as the arrive. Ifthey need a few extra days before planting, they can wrap a towel around the roots an spray them with water.\"
Some of the first ones you shipped are already starting to green up with the miracle grow fertilizer. I likethe Jubaeasbetter with a little mix of the Butia. It makes for a more resilient and faster growing palm tree in our climate on the East coast.
