This listing is for a signed Zohiko Lacquerware dresser box with a Mid Century Modern design. The black lacquer box features a mix of shiny gold and tan cranes. Made by the famous artisan Zohiko Heian (1970s ? ). The box is made from natural wood and is coated with a high quality Japanese lacquer (no plastic). According to the pamphlet that comes with the box this would have taken about 3 months to complete. This inside of the box is lined with a purple velvet.

Measures 8 3/4 inches wide, 5 inches deep, and 2 3/4 inches tall.

Overall very good condition. The bottom of box does have some scathing (see pictures) but the rest of the box is in great shape. One small nick on the front that is very small and hard to see but I have included a picture (last one). Inside is clean. Front and sides have some light scratches but nothing deep
