ZUNI FETISH MOUNTAIN LION CARVED BY DAN QUAM
Up for sale is an awesome mountain lion fetish carved by Dan Quam.
The fetish is carved from a black, dark brown, and gray piece of Picasso marble with some thin light gray and white veining. This mountain lion is one fierce spirit with its mouth opened in a snarl. It appears to be in attack mode with piercing eyes. The detail on this carving is incredible, and the mountain lion has incised fur carefully and meticulously carved.
The mountain lion carving is 5 inches long from the tip of the nose to the curve in the tail, by 2 and 1/8 inches high and 1 inch wide. It is signed on the bottom by the artist.
I have taken large photos under some different lighting conditions, and please note that the actual colors of the fetish may vary from that on your computer screen.
