Circa 1940’s - Nice old Zuni ’snake-eyes’ bracelet dating to the 1940’s - 1960’s era.
This bracelet features two rows of small round turquoise cabochons, 26 in all, bezel-set in a sterling, ball and stamp-decorated mount. The stones vary in color and look to be early hand-polished turquoise.
Not marked but tests as sterling. There is a small “N” scratched into the back. This may be the maker’s signature or possibly a pawn shop mark.
A nice early piece of Zuni Pueblo jewelry.
