Fairly amazing timber bowl - probably originally designed as a walut bowl (with center platform for cracking shells), but would be equally at home holding chips, or salad.
Long, ovoid shape, with poiny \'prow\' giving it a bit of a boat shape. Outer surface decorated with smooth carved indentations ... loads to look at and enjoy.Rich, teak coloured timber, with thick walls making for a substantial piece.Good vintage condition. Evidence of use, with marking and walnut-wear to center platform, but otherwise presenting very nicely.Ready for display on your mid century sideboard or dining table, or to bring out at the next bbq.
