Up for sale is a very nice quality antique 19th century hand carved alabaster bust.it\'s completely carved by hand with realistic elaborate detailing depicting a young girl from the chest up.she wears a very ornate engraved hat that is fixed with a bow tie on the top and bottom of the neck strap.it\'s mounted to a hand carved and gilded wooden base that was added at some point.the bust measures 13 3/4 inches wide by 12 inches tall by 9 1/2 inches back to front.the bust alonemeasures 10 1/4 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide.it has been repaired as shown in the last two photos, it had a crack that ran from the back went around the neck to the end of thebow tiein the front.the piece still displays nicely.

Insurance will be put on all items that cost over $40 before shipping cost. But insurance can be added to items under $40 with request from buyer.
buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.
There will be no sales tax charged to cost of item, unless the buyer lives in, and/or is getting package shipped to a New Jersey address. Which will be a charge of 7% due to New Jersey state law.
