This is a stunning antique 19th century Victorian figural original oil painting on board.its signed by the artist on the bottom right as shown in the photo but a bit hard to make out.it is beautifully framed with a gold gilded and routed wooden frame.it is done with very expressive strokes and has nice rich color.the paint is laid onvery thickly and has a nice textured finish with a high gloss.it depicts a middle aged female reading a book while her dog stands up by her feet listening.it has a lovely composition and is a beautiful painting overall.itmeasures 8 1/2 by 10 1/4 inches framed.the painting is in nicecondition but the frame has some small paint loss and small chips on the corner edges.very nice qualitypainting.

buyer is responsible to file insurance claims via USPS, if package arrives broken or damaged, due to USPS\'s new policies the broken or damaged package has to be present when filing claims. If it is under 40$ and insurance is not requested from buyer, I will not be responsible to refund purchase for broken or lost item/items.
