We have seen and sold a lot of meat grinders and food choppers, but this one is without a doubt the most interesting one ever. It has so much writing on it, to me it is like reading a book. It is marked in multiple locations: L F & (C or G - can\'t say for sure) NEW BRITAIN CONN USA <> UNIVERSAL No. 1 FOOD CHOPPER <> GREAT BRITAIN 23426 97 <> BREVETE SG.DG 1897 <> D.R.P. NO. 104762 <> BELGIUM 139443 <> CANADA PAT. OCT. 12 1897 <> PAT. MAY 15, 1900 <> PAT OCT. 12 1897 APR 18 1899 <> RE. SEPT. 5 1899. This meat grinder is \"all good\" and has a chopper blade that can be turned around to chop big or small pieces. This isa great piece of history and to me it is a piece of work.
