Here is a large handled Westerwald jug
Early piece dating back to late 1700\'s/early 1800\'s
Stoneware with cobalt blue floral design and salt glaze
Stylish baluster form with decorations around handle
Some inscribed marking close to the handle that match the blue under glaze marking next to it
Still usable or just great for country style period display

Measurements: Approx. 13,5\" high, 8.5\" diameter with handle, 6\" diameter without handle, weights almost 5 lb
Condition: Very Good overall; All original. Minor stable glaze hairline on the spout (less than 1\"), minor surface flake on the handle, some age staining and dirt, please see photos below
