This is a estate sale find that I have had for quite some time. The owner came up to me and gave me some history on the bonnet and wrap saying it went back 3 generations. This will date this to the 18th century. I wanted to sell this together as it has been together for quite some time. I will do the best to explain flaws. Please look at the pictures. If you purchase this and are not happy you can return it. The hat has some expected worn areas and also a repair job on the top. It also has a couple of holes. One of the bows on the top need tacked back down. It is made of a unique material with a rose design. The shawl is made of a different material and pattern but looks great with the old bonnet.The tie is frayed on one side and is missing on the other. It is lined and in fair condition for the age.
