This sale is for thislarge Antique illustrated leather cover Family Holy bible containing the old and new Testaments & Apocryphia A Concordance and Psalms of David in Metre gold guilt page edges ,published bySamuel Burlock Co (no actual publish date,looks aprox 1870.This has some writing in the Birth and Death section starting with Henry Fritz born in 1837 and some of the writing looks to be more recentThere is also the names Michon here in later dates and sorry I do not know where they are from or any history behind this .Theitem looks infair condition with some typical old book issues.There is moderatesigns ofscuffs and wear on the leathercovers , It has a Hinge crack and a clump of pages loose near the front The rest of the binding seems decent .Thereis apage with a hole tear ,.There is some light foxing on some of the pages. It has aslight dusty old barn smell .Besides the front hinge issue the text block appears to be complete ingood shape for the most part.Most of the interior pages are fairly clean .Thismeasures aprox 9\" by 13\" and 3\" thick withpages numbered by section(aprox 1200-1300 pages Add thisunique item from the past to your collection.Feel free to email questions .Thanks for looking.
