The frame is stamped on the inside of both halves with \"Made in France\".The frame is made of ivory coloured celluloid with hand painted detail. I can\'t find any chips or cracks in the celluloid.There is a matching celluloid chain.
The interior of the purse in good condition. It is lined with silk with a typically art deco pattern woven into it in muted sage green and turquoise. There are a few small red lipstick stains on the silk.
There is no warping of the celluloid and the push button purse opener works, but the frame closes rather weakly leaving a slight gap. An adjustment of the metal part of the closing mechanism should solve this but I prefer to leave it up to the buyer whether to try this.The button on the top of the purse is missing.
The beading is in overall good condition with some minor losses in the main body and some losses to the drops along the bottom.
The bag measures about 9 inches top to bottom ( excluding the drops and chain) and the frame is 5.5 inches wide.
