I love the symbolism behind these pretty victorian sweatheart brooches. Here we have one where a young man was probably declaring his intent!The ivy leaf a symbol of matrimony -the peridot harmony, and the pearl innocence....Mmmm i wonder if they got wed!It is a beautiful simple brooch aprox 2 inches long marked 9ct in lovely condition.
