Description:

Twovintage Gesetzlich Geschutzt Blue glass and rhinestone Buttons

This pair of 1-1/2\" diameter (40mm) brass buttons has an intricate pattern with 12 smaller clear rhinestones, plus a large center rhinestone (7mm diameter), and 4 oval shaped blue glass stones.
Marked on the back: Gesetzlich Geschutzt, there is a loop behind which allows the button to be affixed, and a previous owner drilled a 1/8\" hole through each, possibly to allow easy mounting for display. The buttons were made in Germany, circa 1930s.
