This is a stunningly rare antique solid cast iron and glass figural floor smoking ashtray stand.it was made early 1900\'s, made from very thick cast iron, and is a very heavy piece.it is in the shape of a standing heron bird and has abeautiful gold gilded finish.he stands on abeautifully footed ornate base which has large bright green square glass panels.the heron looks down at the ashtray holder which has grooves for cigarettes or cigars and a matchbox holder mount.the piece is in great condition and measures 38 inches tall by 13 1/2 inches back to front by 10 inches wide.very high quality smoking stand.
