From a very old family home here in South Carolina. It was stored in the old smoke house barn for a century. It had a quarter inch of dust on it so I took a soft paint brush and lightly dusted it off, that’s it, So it’s still dirty. The wood is solid and nothing seems loose. It measures 27 1/2”x 20” and the mirror is 17 1/2” round. It also has its original hanging rope. It has its original paint and flat nails holding the mirror in. You can tell by the pictures that it has some minor paint loss and a couple small scratches on the mirror. Im not sure when it was made, my guess would be in the early 19th century. This rare Eagle & 13 star shield mirror would look amazing restored. Any questions please ask. Thank you and good luck.
