MASTERPIECE QUALITY ANTIQUE APPLIQUE QUILT, UNUSED ,MINT

This c 1860\'s Floral applique quilt is HAND PIECED & HAND APPLIQUED using Turkey red and a deep green for the flowers and stems, with a creamy white for the background in cotton fabrics. It also has a wonderful floral vine border with Turkey red urns at the center of each side. The quilt measures 78\" x 77\", has a very thin cotton batting with seeds, a hand applied binding and a creamy white back.FANTASTIC HAND QUILTING @ 12 TO 14 SPI covers the quilt with concentric diamond quilting on the face creating squares in theflower centers,and triple angle quilting on the borders, with the stitch count going down to 8 spi over the applique work. In UNUSED, UNWASHED,COLLECTOR CONDITION we found no rips, tears or odors, just a couple small storage spots on the back that have seeped thru to the front, but minor on the front (see border photo for example), and some minor color changingin the greens, mainly on the binding.
