It looks like it may have only been used once or twice. This set is nearly 70 years old.

There are no hairline cracks, no chips, no scratches and no brassing on the gold trim. Notice there is a name engraved on the barrels, as seen in the last photo.

This is a Sheaffer\'s Snorkel filling pen. This pen has not been worked on or touched up, it is entirely original. The snorkel mechanism is working (the snorkel tube extends out from the feed when the end of the barrel is pulled and twisted), but it will probably need a new rubber bladder to fill with ink.

The mechanical pencil is working perfectly. It still has lead.

The very large 14K gold nib is in perfect condition. It has a fine point.

With the cap in place, the pen is 5 1/2\" long. It is a rather large pen.

This set it is with the original box and instructions.
