This is a lot of five vintage ballroom music posters from the 1950s and early 1960s. The posters are all vintage originals printed one side only on paper measuring about 14” x 22” with one a bit larger and one a bit smaller. Some of these posters were manufactured by the Metropolitan Press of Omaha, Nebraska.

These posters have Mid-century Modern graphically interesting designs and came originally from the estate of a family that operated a large ballroom. These posters advertise “Territory Bands” which were literally the hardest working men in show business crisscrossing the Midwest playing hundreds of shows a year. These posters are all unused “new old stock” in very good condition with some light handling wear and toning to the paper from age.
