Very beautiful microscope made in England about 1820 (see Billings Microscope Collection, pag 27, fig 50) in fitted mahogany case.
The microscope has very few wear, retains nearly all its original laqueur and has a lot of attachments. All them are original, the lenses are numbered from 1 to 6 and there is no makers name. The rack and pinion looks in good condition, with no teeth broken. It is not as smooth as it should be but operates from low to high .
Will add a digital copy (.pdf) of the \"Billings Microscope Collection\".
