This sale is for an interesting antique Chinese export porcelain covered vegetable dish. It is decorated in Nanking type blue and white designs. It is unusual in that the lid knob has been replaced with a metal handle..
This item was made circa 1800, and the lid handle is an antique replacement from the 1800\'s.
It is about 10 3/4 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches tall.
It weighs about 1.433 kg.
The bowl is really nicely decorated, with a pattern similar to the lid.
In terms of condition, the lid handle has been replaced. The edge of the bowl has typical glaze frits. Otherwise its good, no cracks, no chips. The bowl on its own is very good.

We combine shipping whenever safe to do so - you pay what it costs to ship the package (mail and the cost of packing materials). We only ship by tracked mail. If you are outside of North America, please keep in mind that airmail takes 1-3 weeks, and surface mail takes 6-12 weeks. If you select and pay for surface mail, and you are outside of North America, please no not expect it to arrive in airmail time. Surface mail, means by land and sea, and it takes a long time! If you want it to arrive in 1-3 weeks, then select and pay for airmail, not surface can be returned if not as represented. Obviously we do not want to have to deal with the hassle and expense of dealing with a return, so we are very careful to accurately represent our items, and include a large number of high resolution, larger than life photographs from every possible angle. Items that are correctly represented can not be returned. There is a 15% restocking fee for any item returned which was not misrepresented.
