This is an fantastic little c1830 American Sully style gilded miniature. Beautiful original gilded surface with great lemon color, excellent patina and minor wear. Cut nail, mitered corners, ochre painted sides and original loop hanger. Measures 4 x 4 5/8 with a 3 1/8 x 3 3/4 rabbet.Tough to find these Sullys in a miniature size ......and this is a beautiful, delicate little one. Please email with any questions.
