Circa 1864 CIVIL WAR Stereoview by Moulton; Photograph of narrative sculpture by John Rogers, \"The Wounded Scout, A Friend in The Swamp\". Sculpture depicts a wounded Union scout being cared for by an escaped black slave. This is one of Rogers best known, and highly praised works. Identification on the reverse, \"174 - The Wounded Scout.\". Photographic stereoview is mounted on slightly curved mount board which is about 6-3/4\" x 3-1/4\".
