Circa 1876 silk bandanna orhandkerchief,
- 1876 Centennial Fair at Philadelphia, PA,
- printed red and blue onwhite material,
- fully bordered by a blue band of leaves and berries,
- four smallmedallions of two crossed American Flags with sun and “Independence, 1776” and“Centennial, 1876”,
- five medallions showing buildings on theexhibition grounds –
1- “Memorial Hall” in larger centralmedallion with eagle, shield and arrows
2- “Main Building”
3- “Machinery Building”
4- “Agricultural Hall”
5- “Horticultural Hall”
Frame – circa 1870 Victorian frame,walnut with ebonized trim and two-tone gilt.
