NY: Thomas Y Crowell & Co, c1885.Beautifully designed Victorian era copy of Dante\'s classic with fancy gilt and black title decor on spine, with black designs on the boards, as shown. Externally in great shape with some slight bumping, fading and soiling to the boards, light fading to the spine, and a slight line of nibbled on the lower edge of the front board, as shown, else fine. Hinges still intact. Text slightly browned/foxed, a few small stains; the binding firm and true. Signed on front EP, as shown, with some ephemera. 8vo. Hard to find copy! Good luck!
