The bowl features heavy beaded trim around the rim with ball feet and handles in the form of a serpent or dragon in Oriental Japanese Revival. Overall the bowl is in good condition with no monograms or dents and the silver plate is lovely on the exterior with beautiful patina. The interior of the bowl shows wear as can be seen in the pictures but we believe that it may have been re plated at one time. The bowl stands about 6.25 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the widest point. This is a truly rare pattern by Derby and there are few left around. There is one on now selling at $750.00 which makes the price of his bowl excellent.
